My education consists of a Bachelor of Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University and a Master of Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University. I am currently a Limited License Master of Social Work (LLMSW) in the State of Michigan, which allows me to diagnose and treat mental health disorders. As a LLMSW, I also receive supervision from a Fully License Professional Master of Social Worker on a regular basis.
My experience has consisted of working with individuals as well as families who have struggled with mental health and trauma. I have experienced in utilizing techniques such as Person Center-Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Talk Therapy and Strength Based. I have had the opportunity to work with many diverse groups of children, adolescents, adults, and families throughout my experience in many different settings.
My goal as a professional is giving my clients the necessary tools and resources so that they are able to grow towards their best version of themself and their life. I believe that everyone is unique and has gone through their own life experiences that have influenced their present self. I believe that everyone has struggled at some point in life and that there is no shame in needing help in navigating through these hardships. I look forward to being able to provide a safe, healing, compassionate, and empowering space for clients as they navigate through difficulties in life.
