About Selina M. Engle, LMSW

Selina M. Engle

My education consists of a master's degree in Social Work from Southern California University. I have been a licensed Master's Level Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of Michigan since 2017 and was a Limited Licensed Master's Level Social Worker (LLMSW) for two years before this. Additionally, I hold a master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) and an undergraduate degree in public relations. Most of my career has included working in a community mental health setting in Central Michigan as a home-based and outpatient therapist.

My career has included working with individuals of all different ages and mental health disorders. I have had the opportunity to be trained in several different therapy modalities. I have training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). All these trainings have allowed me to develop a large therapeutic toolbox in which I can draw many resources and therapeutic tools from.

My passion truly lies in working with individuals to help them discover and then achieve their best life. Although I work with all different ages and all different mental health disorders my specialties include, individuals with personality disorders and/or those who have experienced a traumatic event/s in their life. I strive to provide a safe environment for all those that I work with and look forward to working with you.
